Kraken Chase Whale Watching in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico: Chase the Kraken throughout the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez! The adventure begins at the marina. First, you will head to the rock formations, then to Lover’s Beach with is the marvelous beach before passing The Arch, and lastly, the famous Arch of Cabo San Lucas, where you can take pictures with the sea lion colony. After this, the real adventure starts, chasing the Kraken, the majestic whales that visit Mexican waters once a year looking for the best conditions to mate. See the majestic gray whale and the humpback whale. This activity takes place in the Buccaneer Queen boat (which is one of the pirate ones). Since these marvelous whales do not live in the Baja and they have to migrate again, this sighting is seasonal, from December to April only. The oficial dates are December 15th to April 15th, after these dates, the tour is no longer operational. These giant creatures are so kind that they even notice your presence and sometimes that start “dancing” around the boats, they love getting your attention.
